Mindfulness App review - "How we feel"

There are tons of mindfulness apps out there. Some are preachy, some are practical and a few are transformational. As part of my work, I review tools that help my clients observe themselves more clearly, enabling them to chart their own path with thoughtful guidance and support.
"How we feel" stood out amongst the ones I reviewed.

Let's start with my favorite question - "Why"
Why this app?
It's an app created by scientists, therapists, designers and engineers operating as a not-for-profit organization. The app is free for life and donation is optional.
Clean, simple, intuitive interface
Check-ins take no more than 15 seconds - these check-ins help you capture a wide range of emotions (see snapshots below)
Journal feature is available too
Well designed dashboards that give you a view of where you are

How do I use this app in Coaching?
This is one of the many tools I use to help my clients understand their current state - so that we can acknowledge it before we set goals for the future. By externalizing thoughts and emotions through the app’s journaling feature, it helps reduce cognitive load and move stress out of the mind and into a structured space. Over time, this practice supports emotional regulation and contributes to a gradual reduction in anxiety and stress.
